My second digital story is based on how to write an affective Sonnet and where this poe originated from. A Sonnet is a fourteen line poem with three quatrains followed by a couplet. A sonnet has a certain rhyme scheme, it may seem difficult but once you read it over a few times it's actually quite simple. The couplet introduces new rhyme sounds into the poem.
Sonnets are a very popular type of writing, three main sonnet forms have been in use since the Renaissance. The Italian or Petrarchan sonnet, the English or Shakespearean sonnet or the Spenserian. Each are named after the poet who made the form famous. Each of the sonnets are different in many ways, though they have very similar characteristics. The forms of writing are so famous because they began during the Renaissance. The Renaissance was  time period when

Narrative

This narrative explains my high school life so far, and my next two years to come. In high school i became more academically aware, but my favorite part of all i have become more aware of my society. I thought when i was in middle school i was going too a whole lot of fun and drama was only going to be a little bit of weight on my shoulders. I was completely wrong though, my perspective of high school changed a lot after being here for two years i've been here.

Although i have many dislikes about high school, i have one specific like. I am only a sophomore in this school and already i have learned how to become a part of my school community. I am the type of person who loves to do things for others and i love volunteering inside and outside of school. Since i was 14 years old i have been volunteering at Sea View Nursing Home / Rehabilitation Center. The first day i started to volunteer i fell in love with it. When i began high school i started to become more attached to doing community service.

When i began my sophomore year i wanted to join the basketball team. I had been playing for so many years, i wasn't that good of player, i just loved the game. I loved being active and interacting with my friends. When i tried out for the basketball team , i didn't make it. I was upset because i wanted too be on the team so badly. My coach came up to me and told me that she appreciated that i came too every tryout that they had, and she wanted too know if i would be the manager of the team. Although i didn't make it as a player on the team, i was still part of the team and that made me the happiest of all.

Like i said, i love doing things for others, so if being the manager of my basketball team meant being their for all my friends on the team and doing what i could for my coach, i was happy. I stayed with my team the whole year, i went too every single practice, and my coach was nice enough too let me practice with my team. I was their at every game, doing the book for my coach and helping them out in every way. Being a part of this school and my basketball team tought me so much. I thought in the beginning i was going to hate being the manager because deep down i wanted to be the player. My mind soon changed after being at a few practices i saw how being a part of the team is like having a second family away from home.
